Shipping & Returns
We want receiving (and returning) your 1/9 Studio piece to feel effortless. Below is everything you need to know about shipping, tracking, cancellations, returns and refunds. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@oneninthstudio.com and we’ll help.
When will my order ship?
We ship from our fulfillment center in California.
Standard processing: Most orders are fulfilled within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri), excluding holidays.
Pre-orders & backorders: These may take longer — check the product page for estimated ship dates.
Personalized / made-to-order items: Items custom-made in Los Angeles (engraving, bespoke wedding pieces, etc.) typically take 1–2 months to arrive. When your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number — once the package reaches your country the carrier tracking will update with movements.
Shipping options & thresholds
Free standard shipping (USA): on orders $130+.
Free international shipping: on orders $340+.
International delivery: we ship to 100+ countries. For country-specific rates and delivery windows, see the shipping section on our website or email us.
Can’t find your package?
Carriers sometimes leave parcels in a “safe place” (porch, garage, neighbor, mailroom). Please check all nearby locations first. If a package is marked delivered but you can’t find it, allow 2–3 days for the carrier to update — then contact the carrier. If the carrier can’t locate it, contact us at hello@oneninthstudio.com and we’ll assist.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We currently ship to 100+ countries. International duties, taxes and customs fees may apply depending on the destination — these are the recipient’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
Returns & exchanges — what’s allowed?
We want you to love your piece. If you don’t, here’s how returns and exchanges work:
Return window: You may return or exchange any item that is unworn, in original packaging, and in original condition within 3 days of receipt.
How to start a return/exchange: Visit our Returns page or email hello@oneninthstudio.com to begin.
Exchanges: We can only exchange for the same item. Exchanges are available within the USA only.
International returns: Returns are accepted worldwide (subject to the condition above).
Final sale / non-returnable items: Sale items, special orders, custom/personalized items (including Precious capsule and made-to-order jewelry), final-sale merchandise, pop-up purchases, and items from third-party vendors are not eligible for return.
Customized jewelry
All custom-made pieces — including bespoke commissions, engraved items and Precious capsule pieces — are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please confirm all details before placing a custom order.
Order cancellations
You can cancel an order within 3 hours of placement. If cancelled, transaction fees charged by Square (or the payment processor) will apply and may be deducted from your refund.
Refund timing
Due to carrier and returns-center volume, processing returns may take 2–4 weeks. Once we receive and process your return, we will issue a refund and email confirmation. It usually takes 5–7 business days for the refund to appear in your original form of payment after we issue it. If you have questions about a refund status, email hello@oneninthstudio.com.
Signature for delivery
For higher-value orders (generally over $150), carriers such as USPS may require a signature at delivery. If you expect to be unavailable, leave delivery instructions with your carrier (or choose a secure delivery location).
What does “Pre-Order” mean?
Pre-order items are reserved for you and shipped as soon as they are available. The estimated ship date is listed on the product page. We’ll notify you by email with tracking when your pre-order ships.
