At 1/9 Studio, we want your experience to feel effortless — from the moment you place your order to the day your handcrafted piece arrives at your door. This policy applies to all jewelry, clothing, art pieces, and handmade accessories purchased through our official website or authorized sales channels.

1.SHIPPING POLICY

Origin:
All orders are processed and shipped from our fulfillment center in California, USA.

Processing Time:

  • Ready-to-ship items: 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Handmade / made-to-order products: 2–12 weeks (depending on complexity and material availability).

  • Pre-orders or out-of-stock items: 1–3 months estimated. Please refer to the product page for exact details.

Shipping Confirmation:
Once your order is processed, you will receive an order confirmation number and a tracking number via email. Tracking will update once your parcel is in transit.

Estimated Delivery Time:

  • Domestic (USA): 3–7 business days via USPS or UPS Standard Shipping.

  • International: 14–30 business days, depending on the destination and customs processing.

  • Expedited Shipping: Options available at checkout.

⏳ Please note: delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and may be delayed due to customs or courier issues.

2. FREE SHIPPING THRESHOLDS

  • USA: Free standard shipping on orders $130+.

  • International: Free standard shipping on orders $340+.

All shipping costs (including expedited options) are non-refundable.

3. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We currently ship to 100+ countries.

  • Import duties, customs fees, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated.

  • 1/9 Studio cannot estimate or reimburse these costs. For precise rates, please contact your local customs office prior to ordering.

  • Orders with billing or shipping addresses in non-English languages may be delayed or cancelled for verification purposes.If billing and shipping addresses are provided in a language other than English, your order will be subject to a delay or cancellation.

4. LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

  • Please check all possible delivery locations (mailroom, porch, garage, neighbor) if your package is marked “Delivered” but not found.

  • Wait 2–3 days for carrier updates.

  • If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, contact us at hello@oneninthstudio.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date.

⚠️ 1/9 Studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage once packages are in transit or marked delivered.

5. SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS

For orders over $150 USD, the carrier may require a signature upon delivery.
Please ensure someone is available to receive your package or leave a delivery note with your carrier in advance.

6. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We take great pride in crafting every piece by hand. Please read carefully before purchasing.

6.1 Jewelry & Clothing

  • Due to the handmade and made-to-order nature of our jewelry and clothing, returns and exchanges are NOT accepted.

  • This includes all:

    • Custom / personalized / engraved pieces

    • Precious capsule & bespoke designs

    • Sale items, limited editions, and pop-up event purchases

    • Garments made to measurement or altered for you

6.2 Art Pieces

  • Artworks, sculptures, and wearable art are final sale.

  • Each piece is unique, and slight variations in texture, tone, or finish are natural characteristics of handmade work, not defects.

6.3 Footwear (Shoes & Slippers)

  • Eligible for exchange only if unworn, undamaged, and in original packaging.

  • Returns must be initiated within 2–3 business days (including transit) of delivery.

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping fees; original shipping fees are non-refundable.

🌟 Packages returned without original packaging or showing signs of wear will not be accepted.

7. RETURN PROCESS

  1. Email hello@oneninthstudio.com with your order number, photos of the item, and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, you will receive the return address and instructions.

  3. Use a trackable shipping method with proper protection and insurance.

  4. Once received and inspected, refunds (if applicable) are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

😊 We do not cover shipping damages or returns sent without prior authorization.

8. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

8.1 Ready-made products

  • Orders can be canceled within 3 hours of purchase.

  • After that, the order will proceed to fulfillment.

  • If a shipping label has been created, no cancellation or refund can be processed.

8.2 Custom-made or personalized items

  • Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of order confirmation.

  • After 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee applies to cover material and production costs.

  • Once production begins or a shipping label is created, no refund or cancellation is possible.

8.3 Pre-orders

  • Pre-orders are considered reserved custom items. Once payment is confirmed, they are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

9. REFUNDS

  • Refunds are issued only for approved returns that meet all conditions.

  • Processing time: 2–4 weeks from receipt of your return.

  • Once processed, the refund typically appears within 5–7 business days on your original payment method.

  • Transaction fees (from Square, Stripe, or other processors) may be deducted from your refund.

10. QUALITY GUARANTEE & DISCLAIMER

  • Every piece is hand-inspected prior to shipment.

  • Slight variations in color, finish, or texture are part of the natural handmade process.

  • 1/9 Studio is not responsible for damages caused by improper care, wear, or use after delivery.
